How We Test and Choose Ita Bags
Last reviewed: July 2026 — YourItBag Editorial Team
This page explains the criteria we use when choosing ita bags for our catalog. This page explains our selection criteria, testing process, and editorial standards so you know exactly what our recommendations are based on.
Our selection criteria
We look at five criteria:
- Window clarity — the display panel must be clear PVC or acrylic without visible distortion. We avoid listings that show yellowing, bubbling, or haze.
- Insert compatibility — the window pocket must fit standard foam or plastic-canvas inserts. We compare the listed interior depth and width with common insert sizes.
- Construction durability — we look at the zippers, straps, and hardware shown in the product specifications and photos.
- Real-world carry — we consider weight distribution, strap comfort, and whether the bag functions well when loaded with a typical collection (pins, charms, acrylic stands, or plushies).
- Display range — we assess whether the window size and depth support the intended collection type. A bag labeled for enamel pins is evaluated differently from one for plushies.
What we do not include
We aim to list only bags whose window and insert details suit display use. We also remove styles when supplier quality drops below our baseline — if a style that previously passed receives credible reports of durability issues, it is reviewed and removed if those reports are confirmed.
Editorial independence
Our product selections and rankings are not influenced by paid placements or brand partnerships. We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or recommend any product. If that changes, we will disclose it clearly.
How customer reviews are collected
Customer reviews are not currently displayed on product pages. When we display reviews, they will come from customers who bought the product and will not be edited for sentiment.
We do not remove reviews because they are negative. A review may be removed only if it violates platform policies (spam, off-topic content, or content unrelated to the product).
Specifications and product data
Dimensions, insert status, and capacity data on product pages come from supplier specifications. Where we cannot confirm a specification with certainty, we note it as “not confirmed — contact us to verify.” We do not invent or estimate specifications.
Questions about a specific product?
If you have a question about how a specific bag was evaluated, or if you believe a specification is incorrect, email us at [email protected]. We respond within 24 hours (Monday–Friday).
